PRICING GUIDELINES

Design work of any type is a very fluid and organic thing. The labor involved and the type of work to be done can change for each project. Generally speaking, the more labor, equipment and skill sets needed for your project, the more expensive it will be. Also, rates can and do change to keep up with things like inflation and the fair market value of whatever job we are working on.

Because of these things, we will never discuss any rates or quotes without both an introductory conversation and a brief discussion of your project. Furthermore, we will never disclose a rate that we have given to any other client. These rules are in place to make sure both ourselves and the client get a fair price for the work to be done at the time we agree to do it.

FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE YOUR RATE

When calling us to talk about your design needs, there are a few things you should bear in mind when you contact us:

• COMPLEXITY - Are you looking for some basic print work using stock photos and elements? Do you need a website? How about an animated banner ad or short video? Generally, the more complex and customized your project needs to be, the more expensive it will be.
• PROJECT PURPOSE - How will you be using your project? Is this an internal project? Are you showing this to the public? Do you plan on reselling the work we create for you? The breadth of exposure and potential for direct profit on your part are key elements to your rate.
• CLIENT LOYALTY - Just like every other service provider, we occasionally give special rates to clients that have worked with us for a particularly long time. In the freelance world, repeat business is a key to success and we are willing to help those who help us.
